It might be the end of the summer holidays but food-lovers looking for a relaxed ambience and great quality open air fayre should head to Hitchin’s Street Food Monthly tomorrow evening from 4pm to 9pm in Market Place.

With 14 food trucks offering mouth-watering selections of world street food, a licensed bar and quality live music from Alex Francis, this popular event is growing all the time.

The brains behind it, Matt Bean, who runs Cantinas Carnitas – along with Victoria Kevans from The Victoria pub, and Jeff Pridmore – said: “We’re back after a five-week run in July alongside the Hitchin festival.

“We’re really looking forward to it as there’s a great crowd who attend.

“But if you haven’t tried it yet I’d encourage as many people as possible to come down for quality fresh street food, and drink – including a licensed bar from The Victoria – as well as great music, and a great vibe.”
