A Hitchin school is hosting weekend ballet lessons for mums and tots as well as teens and adults.
Vickie Lesnick, principal of the Lesnick School of Ballet is running ‘Mummy and Me’ ballet classes for boys and girls aged 18 months who can walk or crawl, up to those aged three years-old, at The Priory School, Bedford Road on Sundays, starting at 9.30am.
Vickie – known as Miss Vickie to all her pupils – said: “We’d love as many children and parents to come along as possible. I love teaching ballet, there’s always a nice atmosphere at our classes. There’s a perception of ballet being elitist but it’s not. The feedback I’ve had has been great.”
Children’s ballet starts at 10am, with classes for teens and adults, 10.30am to 11.30am. Free trials are available, £4 a session after – call 07956 525659 or visit www.lesnicksschoolofballet.co.uk for more.
