There’s something for all the family at a community event in Hitchin today.
FitFest, which starts at 10am in Bancroft Park through until 4pm, organised in conjunction with Hitchin BID, will see many businesses and people from the town set up stalls and demonstrations in the park relating to health, fitness, wellbeing and exercise.
There will also be delicious food and drink, special offers and giveaways, with a chance to find out more about the Pilates Pod, Shanti Warrior Yoga, Health and Happiness, Little Rascals, HSTS Tae Kwon Do, Zumba, Wild Training, England Netball, JS Dance Academy, Xchange Fitness, Elite Sports, Kinetic Cycles, North Herts Roadrunners, WeightWatchers, Hitchin Rugby Club, Spine and Wellness, Chia, Hitchin Russian Ballet, Very Personal Training,Woodlands Osteo – plus Chef Martin Burke, Cantina Carnitas and many more.
Town centre manager Keith Hoskins said: “It’s a lovely community event. I was there at 7am this morning helping out.
“It promises to be a great day and I would urge everyone to visit.”
