A PUB licensee accused of breaching the smoking ban on his premises has had his court hearing adjourned.
Keith Wallace, from the Bricklayers Arms in Hitchin, is charged with failing to stop a person from smoking on the premises in March this year.
He is also accused of smoking in the Queen Street pub himself at a later date that month.
Wallace, whose home address is listed as the pub, was due before Stevenage Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday), but the hearing was adjourned until Monday, September 9.
He has not entered a plea.
