Hitchin man pleads guilty to string of child pornography charges

A man has pleaded guilty to making and possessing child pornography.

Simon Peryer, of Hardy Close in Hitchin, appeared at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Monday.

The 52-year-old admitted 12 counts of making indecent images of a child, two counts of possessing indecent photographs of a child, one count of possessing a extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse with a dead or alive animal and one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child.

Peryer will be sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court at a later date.
