An inquest has opened today (Wednesday) after a Hitchin man fell to his death in Thailand.
Satpal Singh Binag, 35, of Redhill Road, fell to his death from the PRS Hotel in Pattaya on December 6.
His fatal injuries have been recorded as brain laceration and skull fracture.
The inquest, which was opened at Ampthill Coroner’s Court, has been adjourned and will be heard at a later date yet to be arranged.
A spokesman for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: “We can confirm the death of a British national on December 6. Consular staff are now providing assistance to his family.”
