A suspected knifeman from Hitchin has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after another man suffered “slash injuries” in Stevenage during the early hours of this morning.
Police were called at 4.37am this morning to reports of a fight involving two men in Cromdale Walk, in the Great Ashby area of Stevenage.
A man aged in his 30s suffered what police described as “slash injuries” caused by a knife, and is being treated in hospital.
Officers have arrested a Hitchin man, also aged in his 30s, on suspicion of GBH section 18 wounding with intent. He remains in custody.
The two men are believed to be known to each other.
