Hitchin Forum is holding its annual autumn clean-up, which is returning to normal following the pandemic.
The last full clean-up was held in October 2019, as COVID forced the cancellation of the March 2020 event and limited the events in October 2020 and March this year.
Now the full event will return on Sunday, October 17.
Organiser Bill Sellicks said: "Our clean-ups have become very popular.
"Everybody can contribute, and they are a great social occasion enjoyed by all ages. This year, we’ve had enquiries from families living in nearby villages who are keen to join in.
"Being an open air activity, the litter pick is relatively low risk. Nevertheless, we encourage participants to take sensible precautions which are not onerous.
"We’re still keen to hear from anybody else who wants to take part, so if you would like to join us, do get in touch by emailing hflitterpick@gmail.com for full details."
