Hitchin businesses will host an evening of fun and fashion at the town hall on Friday in aid of Colourful Classrooms, a programme which helps children with mental health problems to develop empathy and compassion.
The ‘pre-loved to re-loved’ event has been organised by Kate Griffiths from Art of Leadership and Fairy Shahiri of Hitchin Dry Cleaners.
Kate said: “We have the ingredients for a great night with all proceeds going towards Colourful Classrooms. We only have to pay for the venue.”
There will also be a raffle with a top prize of a weekend in a Landrover or Jaguar. Others include a meal for two at Chia and a magnum of champagne.
Live music will be provided at the event by Claire Humphries – also known as Clair de Lune – Clockhouse Catering will be serving canapes, while Jo Hodson from Including Cake will provide vegan treats.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.45pm, are £5 and include a glass of champagne. For tickets, go to http:/bit.ly/Prel0ved or go to Hitchin Dry Cleaners in Bancroft.
