Thousands of pounds have been raised to support a Hitchin-based youth charity.
Fair in the Square, run by HRJ Foreman Laws and LV= in the town’s Market Place, raised £3,183 to support Phase, which works across all Hitchin’s schools to build wellbeing and resilience in youngsters.
Phase director Kieran Murphy said: “It was a very exciting day as we engaged with children, young people and parents around the subject of growing wellbeing.
“One young person specifically came to say thank you for all that Phase had done for him. He was now in college and life is in a better place.’
HRJ Foreman Laws’ Jane Marland, herself a parent and school governor, added: “Phase does life changing work for our young people in Hitchin, so its great to see such a significant amount of money raised to contribute towards their work in the future.”
