Quiz fans who spent the Christmas break agonising over the tortuous teasers created for Hitchin Priory Rotary Club’s annual fundraiser can now learn the popular project’s final answer – how much did it raise?

Charity representative Claire Pesterfield – a diabetic who is warned by her dog Magic whenever her blood sugar level is low – were guests at a club meeting to receive the donation from president Tony Strong.
