Do you want to see Palm Sunday come to life in Hitchin this weekend – complete with a real-life donkey?
Tilehouse Street Baptist Church on Tilehouse Street is set to re-enact Jesus’ entrance in Jerusalem in their car park.
People will be waving handmade palm leaves as citizens of the ancient Holy City did two millennia ago.
The church’s Peter Bleasby told the Comet: “It promises to be very colourful – and we hope noisy!”
The service starts at 10.30am with the parade starting shortly afterwards.
