A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 20s died at an address in Hitchin yesterday.

Police received a report that a man was seriously injured in Capswell Court yesterday at 4.27am.

Officers and the ambulance service attended the address where the was found with significant injuries. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The 24-year-old remains in police custody at this time. At this stage, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and those involved are believed to be known to each other.
