A FOOTBALL club is going out into the community to try to draw spectators to their ground.
Hitchin Town FC, known as The Canaries, will be spreading their wings from their Top Field ground on Saturday when members hold a stall in Market Place to try to attract new fans.
Club chairman Terry Barratt said: "In today's climate you have to explore all avenues of marketing the club and we hope to reach out to the people in this initiative."
The stall will be selling discounted family tickets for �5 and club merchandise from 9am until 1pm.
