HITCHIN Boys' School headteacher Keith Wadsworth praised his pupils and staff saying: "I am really pleased with the results. Around 46 per cent of our pupils achieving either A or B grades and 31 boys, a third of those who sat A levels, got at least one A grade and 18 boys at least two A grades.
"I am really pleased this year. It has been a good set of results and obviously the boys have worked very hard and they are also pleased. Many got the universities of their choice
"The results are better than last year. This is a testament to the hard work of teachers and pupils.
