Members from a fitness bootcamp in Hitchin will be among hundreds set to take part in a lively mud and obstacle course for charity next month.

The Mark Smith Fitness Bootcamp squad is training hard to give it their best in a forthcoming Willow Warrior mud obstacle run next month. Pals from the group have been using their weekly Wednesday and Saturday sessions at Purwell Field to prepare for the challenge – with 17 already signed up. Mark said: “We wanted a fun challenge which encouraged team work. Something we could achieve together and help a charity at the same time.”

Team member Donna Brown added: “I can’t wait. I’ve seen there’s a big waterslide which looks hilarious and will help to wash off some of the mud!”

The Willow Warrior fun mudder will take place on Sunday, June 12. Visit the Willow Foundation website to find out more about getting involved.
