In 2002, a metal detectorist found a hoard of Roman temple treasure near Baldock - this find hit the headlines and was highlighted in the BBC television series Hidden Treasure. Find out what the latest state of play on the find is at a lecture to be given by Dr Ralph Jackson, Curator of Romano-British Collections, at The British Museum and Gil Burleigh, freelance archaeologist, on Thursday, March 9, at 8pm. The venue is the Plinston, Broadway and a donation of £3 per person will be requested to go towards the funding of the continuing field project.
