A 36-year-old man has been arrested within hours of a police appeal going out in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a woman in a Stevenage sex shop.
Officers had appealed for the public’s help this morning after a woman complained that she had been inappropriately touched while at the store in Queensway at about 12 noon on Tuesday.
A man from Hertford was arrested this afternoon on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in police custody at this time.
