A member of staff at a Henlow school has been given a community order for a drink driving offence.

Tina King, a part-time design technician at Henlow Church of England Academy, has been given a six month community order after being charged with drink driving at Bedford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 12.

The 50-year-old of Potton Road in Biggleswade was also disqualified from driving for three months and given a 12 month supervision requirement.

Ray Payne, headteacher at Henlow Church of England Academy, said: “We are aware of the incident involving Mrs King that has taken place outside of the school, and we will be taking action accordingly.”
