Help a child this Christmas by donating to our toy appeal

YOU can help to make Christmas special for an underprivileged child in Comet country by donating a present to our toy appeal.

The Comet has teamed up with mayor of Stevenage Michael Downing and chairman of North Herts District Council David Levett to ensure no one goes without this festive season.

Readers can donate new, unwrapped gifts, be they big or small, to the cause by visiting our offices at Bank House, Primett Road, Stevenage.

There are also toy appeal drop-off points at the management office on the first floor of Stevenage’s Westgate shopping centre, Hitchin Initiative’s office in Churchyard, Letchworth Town Centre Partnership’s office located in Eastcheap, and Baldock mobile phone shop M Viron in Whitehorse Street.

Those in line to benefit so far include children involved with family support group Home Start North Hertfordshire and day centre the Noel Family Centre.
