RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say about the regeneration of a neighbourhood centre and potential plans for a community hub.

Stevenage Borough Council has launched a consultation over the redevelopment of the Archer Road neighbourhood centre in Stevenage, and wants to hear from residents and businesses ahead of a formal proposal which will be considered in the autumn.

Sharon Taylor, leader of the borough council, said: “Regenerating the Archer Road area is a key priority for us, so it’s exciting to be looking at how we can offer better facilities to meet the modern needs of our residents.

“The first stage in the project is considering options for a new community hub as we know that the current Archer Road neighbourhood centre is no longer up to the job. We’re keen to hear local views to identify the best option, so please do take part in the consultation and let us know what you think.”
