Police in Stevenage have recovered what they believe is a haul of stolen bikes at an address in the town.

On Tuesday, July 4, officers went to a property in Verity Way and carried out a search warrant.

A number of bikes were recovered, which officers think may have been stolen from properties in either Stevenage or Hatfield earlier in the year.

The bikes include a moped, a new black Rockfish mountain bike, a red quad bike and a blue and white XSport bike.

PC Chris Cowell form the Operation Scorpion Team, said: “So far we have been unable to trace the owners.

“If you have been the victim of a burglary or have had a bike like these stolen, please get in touch as soon as possible. You will need to be able to describe the items you have lost and provide proof of purchase if possible.”

Anyone who thinks the items may belong to them should contact PC Chris Cowell in the Stevenage Scorpion Team on 101. Alternatively you can log on to the Herts Reunited Website at https://www.mylostandfound.co.uk/ for more details and photographs of the items.
