Defender left Boro this summer
Peter Hartley has joined Plymouth Argyle.
The centre-half left Boro this summer after just one season having played 38 times for the club at centre-half and at left-back.
Hartley is a former Sunderland youth product who joined Boro from Hartlepool United last summer. He will have a potential early reunion with his former club as Stevenage travel to Plymouth for their third match of the new League 2 season on Tuesday, August 19.
