Stevenage will have to reschedule their League Two game with Hartlepool United.
United beat Salford City, the non-league side co-owned by five former Manchester United players, 2-0 after extra-time in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening.
They will now host Championship side Derby County in the third round on January 9 - the date originally scheduled for Boro’s trip to Victoria Park in the league.
That match will now take place on a Tuesday evening later in the season.
Teddy Sheringham’s men won 2-0 when the two sides met at the Lamex Stadium earlier in the campaign.
