A Letchworth gym is supporting one of its members with a fundraising event tomorrow before they take on Prudential RideLondon 100.
Glenn Eldridge will be cycling 100 miles from London’s Olympic Park to Surrey – and then back to Buckingham Palace – on July 29 in aid of Epilespy Action.
In support of Glenn, other gym members and his close friends will be getting together for a big team workout and barbecue at Crossfit Beowulf in Arden Press Way.
Glenn, who suffers from epilepsy, said: “At the moment, it only stops me from driving, but there are a lot of other people who suffer a lot worse and it can make their life a lot harder.
“I’m raising money by riding the 100 miles for them, so life can be made a bit easier and safer.”
