There was fun for young and old at a care home on the outskirts of Letchworth at the weekend as it held its annual summer fête.
There was outdoor fun including a barbecue, tea and cake, face-painting and more on Sunday afternoon at Guysfield Care Home in Willian.
Guests also enjoyed entertainment in the form of live music and a tombola – as a handy sum was raised to fund future activities at the home.
Home manager Pawel Michalewicz told the Comet: “It was a really lovely day for our residents.
“We’ve raised more than £200, which is going to be used for residents’ activities here at Guysfield Care Home.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who participated and got involved on the day. It was a great day for our residents, their relatives and our staff.”
