Ickleford Parish Council's Annual Parish Meeting recently was Chairman of North Herts District Council Councillor Mrs Lynda Needham. There were the usual reports from the County, District and Parish representatives covering a variety of topics, and questions from the audience ensured a lively and interesting evening took place. A full update on the Parish Plan was provided detailing the fact that 86% of the questionnaires delivered through the village had been returned, and the steering committee is now reviewing all the results provided which will then be put into a plan for the future development of the village. The committee were delighted with the results, and very appreciative of the residents' response. Finally there was an update on the latest crime statistics from PC Duncan Askew who oversees the village, and a short presentation from two members of the Herts Association for Young People who are in the process of undertaking a village survey with a view to hopefully establishing a Youth Club in the village.
