YOUNG people who want a say in their community have got a chance to air their views officially thanks to the Voice of Hitchin group.

It will be holding its annual general meeting next Tuesday, September 26, when people aged 11 to 21 years old are invited to the Hitchin Christian Centre in Bedford Road at 6.30pm to find out more.

The Voice works in partnership with other groups such as North Hertfordshire District Council, the police, churches and ethnic minority groups to improve facilities and services for young people. It also gives them a chance to contribute to the community.

Christian Frisch, the out-going vice chairman, said: "The Voice is a fantastic opportunity for us, as youth, to change things for the better."
