THE committee behind plans to destroy a massive area of Green Belt in an area outside of their authority meet tomorrow morning (Friday) to discuss their next move.

The Luton Borough and South Beds joint planning committee, which propose building 5,500 homes and a Luton bypass in the beautiful Lilley valley to meet housing requirements, meet at the Central Beds offices at 9.30am.

Councillors are expected to respond to massive opposition to the plan from residents in North Herts made during a consultation process earlier this year.
