All lines have reopened between Stevenage and Cambridge after a lineside fire in Letchworth earlier this afternoon.
No trains were running on the stretch while emergency services dealt with the incident near Spring Road in Letchworth at around 12pm.
Just after 1pm, Great Northern tweeted: “All lines now open between Hitchin and Cambridge following a lineside fire.
“Services still subject to disruption as we work to recover service.”
