A train tracking fault that affected rail information for Great Northern and Thameslink services has now been resolved.
Great Northern and Thameslink rail, which run trains through Welwyn Hatfield, Potters Bar, Stevenage, Hitchin, Royston, St Albans, and more, tweeted today at 4.15: “There is currently a nationwide fault with the train tracking system.
“The train service is operating as normal, however services may be incorrectly showing as ‘delayed’ on apps and station departure boards will not be working.”
Press representatives at Network Rail had not heard of the reported problem when they were contacted.
The problem has now been resolved.
