The deadline for Govia Thameslink Railway season ticket holders to apply for compensation is fast approaching.

Season ticket holders have until Friday, November 30 to apply for compensation, while the compensation scheme for non-season ticket holders opened on Monday, November 26.

Govia Thameslink Railway chief executive officer Patrick Verwer said: “It’s important that regular travellers who did not have season tickets are compensated for what happened earlier this year and I would urge these passengers to visit our website.”

Thameslink and Great Northern passengers without season tickets can get up to four weeks’ worth of fares if they made a minimum of three days’ return travel in any one week between May 20 and July 28 to or from the most affected stations.
