A man has been charged with causing a promising Stevenage golfer’s death by careless driving while being over the drink-drive limit.
Jack Kay, 20, from Preston Road, Gosmore, has been bailed to appear at Stevenage Magistrates Court next month.
Talented sportsman Jack Mudd, 19, was a passenger in a car which overturned in Preston Road, Gosmore, during the early hours of October 4 last year.
He sadly died at the scene.
