A golf fan has been given family membership at a club for a whole year after winning Letchworth Festival’s raffle.

Gemma Sarrington was presented with the top prize – family membership for the Letchworth Par 3 Family Golf Centre in Willian Way – at the Local & Tourist Information Centre this week.

She said: “I will now be able to play more often and improve on my golfing skills and relax with some good food and drinks afterwards.”

Lorraine Seaholme also won £100 cash in the annual raffle, and other prizes included various membership deals, vouchers and meal offers.

A festival committee spokeswoman thanked those who made prize donations and the public for their support.
