BUDDING broadcasters got some live experience with a trip to the Lister Radio studio.

The youngsters visited the hospital radio in preparation for this year's Letchworth and District gang show.

Part of the show featured a Lister Radio section where performers sang and danced to five songs from the last five decades.

Each song was introduced live by a DJ from a mock radio station studio, and those hoping to get the presenter's part were interviewed by DJ Phil Ross live on the hospital radio.

The Lister Radio section from the show was recorded for broadcast to patients at the hospital.

The gang show featuring a cast of 79 was on at St Francis Theatre, Letchworth GC, on Friday and Saturday.
