TRAVELLERS who have set up home at a service station have been given 24 hours to leave the site before legal action is taken to remove them.

A traveller community arrived at Baldock Services on the A1(M)/A507 yesterday (Tuesday).

A spokesman for Hertfordshire Police confirmed the gipsies arrived from Biggleswade, and have been asked by management from the service station to leave the site by this evening, or legal action will be taken to remove them.
