Get set for an art exhibition to be held in an unusual place – a gents barbers in Hitchin.
Talented artist Jane Visick will be holding the event at True Gents Barbers in Bucklersbury on the weekend of Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9.
The occasion will showcase local artists with the theme being ‘Steampunk’ – a genre of science fiction concerned with steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology – as well as fantasy and superheroes.
Jane told the Comet: “This is one of a number of local art events which are being co-ordinated by members of the Hitchin Art Hub, a facebook group for local artists.
“We are trying to raise the profile of the wealth of talent in the area.”
The event will run from 7pm to 11pm on Saturday, April 8, and 12pm to 7pm on Sunday, April 9.
