Original founder members of the KT Bush Band are set to perform on stage at Hitchin’s iconic Club 85 with new band members, recreating the earliest performances of Kate Bush – as well as sharing stories, big hits and original material not performed live for nearly four decades.

In 2014, drummer Vic King and guitarist Brian Bath – who both formed the KT Bush Band in 1977 – began secretly rehearsing. They aimed to share happy anecdotes of those ground-breaking years when Kate and the band were creating songs such as ‘Them Heavy People’, and ‘James and the Cold Gun’ – with Brian looking forward to talking about ‘The Tour of Life’, later days in the studio and on the road.

He said: “It’s all about the music and putting on a great show. These unique songs – album tracks and hit singles – are all in the mix, plus a few stories here and there to bring you closer to the maestro.

“Come along and grow with us, we need your magical presence to ensure this is the memorable and moving experience you can imagine.”

Doors open at the Whinbush Road venue at 7.45pm and tickets (£14) are available from www.wegottickets.com, David’s Music in Letchworth or on the door.
