FORMER Stevenage Boro midfielder George Boyd has been named as one of the top 50 football league players in a national magazine.
Four Four Two's annual Top 50 list has the Peterborough winger placed at 44, with a quote from manager Darren Ferguson saying "I believe he can play in the Premiership".
The "White Pele" hit 24 league goals in 114 games for Stevenage before his move to the Posh in January 2007.
He has hit nine league goals in 40 games so far this season and has also been linked with a move to Celtic.
