FA rejects former Stevenage winger’s appeal
George Boyd has been banned for three games for spitting.
The Hull City winger had denied misconduct but he will now serve a three-match ban after the Football Association rejected his appeal against a charge of spitting at Manchester City’s Joe Hart.
The former Stevenage player will now miss Hull’s Premier League games against fellow bottom-half clubs West Brom, West Ham and Stoke.
