Headteacher Jed Whelan, who took up the post in January this year, said students "have every right to be proud" of the results, which were some of the best in the school's history.
Star pupils William Dollman, Sam Williams, Tom Butler, Michael Mok, Michaela Drake and Dami Fajobi all received straight As in each of their nine subjects, and 65 per cent of students achieved five grades A* to C.
Mr Whelan added: "We are delighted for the students who have worked so hard to achieve these wonderful grades.
"I am so pleased for all the staff of the school who are always prepared to go that extra mile to help students and have seen their dedication rewarded.
"We also acknowledge the support given to the students by their parents and carers.
Mr Whelan also praised the work of his predecessor Lynne Monck in preparing the students for these exams.
He said: "This is a fitting testament to all the efforts Lynne put in over a 17- year period as headteacher of the school.
"I know she will be especially pleased at these results.
