Dr Celia Fisher from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew gives an illustrated lecture on these gardens, which have created The Artists' Paradise, at the Thursday, May 4, meeting of the North Hertfordshire Decorative and Fine Art Society (NHDAFAS), at the Plinston, Broadway. Visitors are welcome at the morning or afternoon lecture at 11am or 2pm; admission, £5. NHDAFAS runs a programme of 10 lectures, two study days and four outings a year - for membership enquiries call 01462 622466.
