Garden House Hospice Care is hosting Make a Will Week where North Herts and Stevenage solicitors will be on hand to write basic wills in return for a donation to the charity.

From today until Friday representatives from participating firms – Friis & Radstone based in Letchworth and Stevenage, Hitchin’s HRJ Foreman Laws and Ross Williams Solicitors, Tollers Solicitors and Moore Stepehens in Stevenage, and Bedford-based Premier Solicitors – will be available to create a basic will for a suggested minimum donation of £100.

Sharon Brown, senior solicitor at Tollers LLP, said: “So many people put off making a will, waiting for the ‘right time’.

“There is no right or wrong time though, so why not get round to doing what you’ve been putting off for years and donate to the hospice at the same time?

“Most people I talk to say that making a will has been on their list of things to do for at least five years. The hospice does such a great job of looking after so many patients and their families – by making your will this week you can ensure you are looking after your family.”

Just call one of the solicitors direct to book an appointment, and visit ghhospicecare.org.uk for more information about Make a Will Week.
