Garden House Hospice Care will host its first fun run in Stevenage town centre on Sunday.
The Letchworth-based hospice invites residents to join them for its Santa Scamper, which will start at the clock tower in Town Square at 9am.
Event organiser Jake Amos said: “Be a part of history and join us as we celebrate Christmas in style this weekend.
“We’re excited to be the first charity to hold a family fun run in Stevenage town centre, we’re even giving all participants a free Santa hat at registration.”
Those taking part can walk, run or jog around the 2.5km or 5km route.
Entry can be paid for online before midnight on Thursday or at the event from 8am at the clock tower.
It’s £15 for adults, £10 for five to 17 year olds, or £40 for a family of four.
