Stevenage picked up their second consecutive win in League Two with a 4-2 win over Southend United.
Roarie Deacon scored a flukey goal in the first half, curling a cross into the bottom corner of Daniel Bentley’s goal, to give Boro a 1-0 half-time lead. Southend came out in the second half and scored two, through Joe Pigott and Barry Corr.
Ben Kennedy came on and turned the game with 22 minutes remaining. The 18-year-old celebrated signing a professional contract this week by winning a penalty, which Simon Walton converted, scoring a goal and setting up Dean Parrett for the fourth.
