A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...no, hang on, it was in Stevenage, and on Saturday...
A town centre comic book store held a special event to mark the launch of a new limited edition comic – and welcomed iconic Star Wars characters to join the sci-fi fun.
To celebrate the launch of Marvel’s new Star Wars #1 comic, Limited Edition Comix in Market Place held an event which saw characters from the famous film franchise on parade at the store.
Actor Jeremy Bulloch, who played Boba Fett in the original films, signed pictures and books for fans.
And charity Star Wars costume group the Joker Squad dressed up as stormtroopers and invaded the town centre.
Shop manager Richard Emms said: “It was a phenomenal weekend, we had about 300 to 400 people down in total.
“The stormtroopers went into the town centre and people came out of the shops and asked for pictures.”
