What a season it is turning out to be for Stotfold Football Club.
A week after the first team won the UCL Premier Division for the first time in the club's history, their reserves have secured a fabulous league and cup double.
They collected the Reserve Division One league trophy after coming from behind twice to draw with Bourne at Roker Park on Saturday. Ryan Aldrin and Rob Beckwith scored their goals to preserve an unbeaten league record.
The reserves also won the Beds Intermediate Cup by beating Ampthill Town 4-0 last Wednesday.
An own goal gave them the lead before two goals from Kane Dougherty ensured they led 3-0 at the break.
A 25-yard shot from Freddy Morris on 69 minutes made sure it was black and gold ribbons on this year's trophy.
Rokermen: Weatherall, Beckwith (Bowskill), Ettienne, Rennie, Penny (M Lee), Morris, Mitchell, Smith, Butina, Dougherty (Fitton), Bickerstaff.
Subs not used: Moulten.
