This year’s Pirton Summer Fair has been described by organisers as the “best one ever”.
The village fair, held on Saturday, saw the return of the air flypast show, live music and community games.
Around 1,400 people attended the event at Pirton Recreation Ground, with a barbeque and a Pimms among the refreshments.
Alan Scott, chairman of the Pirton Summer Fair, said: “We had a really good attendance and it was the best one ever. We had lovely weather which helped and lots of stalls, as well as a novelty dog show.”
Mr Scott said that the event raised around £5,000 for charities and organisations, including the Pirton School Association.
