A school has been officially opened by Education Minister Michael Gove.
Mr Gove came to Stevenage earlier this afternoon to present the new Marriotts and Lonsdale School building, in Brittain Way, which has been described as amongst the best in the country.
The new building houses students from the old Marriotts School, now demolished, and students from Lonsdale School, which is a special school for children with physical and neurological impairments.
