A TOWN centre came alive at the weekend as people came together to take part in the Letchworth Festival.
On Saturday, the town centre partnership’s Street Fest took over the town with more than 50 acts performing, including Letchworth GC band Blond Louis, who missed out on a semi-final place in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Under the theme of Celebrating Letchworth Life there was something of interest for people of all ages and interests including arts, crafts, music, dance and drama.
In addition to the established farmers’ market, there was a craft market in Leys Avenue and a series of musical entertainers in The Wynd and in The Arcade.
